Young performers explore the craft of acting—from stage presence and character development to voice projection and expressive storytelling. They learn both on-stage and on-camera skills, including script memorization, audition basics, and confidence-building performance techniques.
In addition to acting, students participate in a vocal ensemble where they develop singing, rhythm, and choreography skills. Whether performing on stage or in front of the camera, students gain creativity, teamwork, and confidence as they bring stories to life.

STORYBOOK EXPLORERS
This magical literacy class takes students on immersive storybook adventures that spark imagination and a love for reading. Younger learners dive into stories through sensory play and interactive experiences, while older students explore early literacy and math skills such as phonics, counting, patterns, and problem-solving—all naturally woven into each tale. Every session includes hands-on activities and a themed snack to bring the story to life and keep young readers excited to learn.
STORY FORGE
Through masterful read-alouds, students absorb the techniques that make stories unforgettable—character transformation, sensory settings, authentic voice, emotional truth—then immediately utilize these techniques to forge our own collaborative adventure tale. Whether your child ``doesn't like reading,`` loves stories but hesitates to write, or is a captivated reader seeking momentum and spark, this is where everyone discovers their storyteller's heart. By the end of class, every student holds a printed copy of the complete short story they helped create.
NEWS/YEARBOOK
In this exciting journalism and media arts class, students become the storytellers of their school community. They learn how to document classes, events, and gatherings through photography, practicing composition, focus, and creative perspective. Students build essential writing skills as they interview classmates and staff, draft engaging articles, and publish e-newsletters that keep families informed and connected. Throughout the year, they also work collaboratively to design and produce the annual yearbook—selecting layouts, organizing photo spreads, writing captions, and shaping the narrative of the school year.
GAME MASTERS / GAME DESIGN
In this imaginative and highly interactive class, students dive into the fundamentals of how board games, card games, and digital games are created. They analyze what makes a game fun and functional—exploring mechanics, rules, balance, strategy, storytelling, and visual design. Through hands-on activities and collaborative challenges, students test gameplay ideas, identify what works (and what doesn’t), and learn to iterate like real designers. By the end of the session, each student applies their knowledge to design an original strategy game, complete with rules, artwork, prototypes, and play-testing sessions with classmates. This class builds critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills as students bring their own game concepts to life.
LEARNING ADVENTURES
In Learning Adventures, students learn from real-world industry professionals and participate in hands-on immersive learning experiences. The Fall theme was Outdoor Explorers.
Spring Semester - Movie Magic
The theme for the 2026 Spring Semester is Movie Magic. We will dive deep into the world of film and storytelling and step behind the scenes to uncover the artistry, creativity, and technology that bring movies to life and experience the “magic” behind cinematic effects—whether driven by science, illusion, or imagination. We will take part in hands-on workshops led by professionals, including a puppet workshop with a television art director and a storyboarding session with a Disney animator. We'll explore green screen techniques, design superhero costumes, film our own short movies under the guidance of an acting coach, and even learn magic tricks from a professional magician.
ALL-IN SPORTS
All-In Sports gives kids a fun and active way to build confidence, coordination, and a lifelong love for physical play.
Younger athletes develop essential gross motor skills as they practice catching, throwing, hitting, balance, agility, and teamwork through sports games and drills.
Older students are introduced to a wide variety of sports—from lacrosse and hockey to baseball, soccer, and basketball—learning basic rules, techniques, and strategies along the way. As they explore new activities and refine foundational skills, students strengthen their athletic abilities, build sportsmanship, and gain the tools they need to grow as capable, confident student athletes.
UNLEASH CREATIVITY
Tools can unleash creativity. Being creative with a blank piece of paper might be more difficult than being creative if you have a set of building blocks or a colorful palette of playdough. But there are only so many building blocks, connector sets and STEM kits you can buy. In Kitoodle Creators classes, we give children a wide variety of tools and skills. We help them to learn to use them competently so the door to their imaginations can be opened. They can tinker, build, experiment and CREATE to their heart’s delight!
