Creative Enrichment Classes, Camps and Workshops in STEAM, Cooking, Language, Writing, Performance and Sports.
At Kitoodle Creators, we design hands-on, imagination-powered classes that help children explore, experiment, and grow. Our programs blend STEAM learning, creative expression, language development, physical activity, and real-world problem-solving for students from preschool through 8th grade.
Whether your child loves building, cooking, acting, inventing stories, discovering languages, or diving into sports and games, we have a class designed to ignite their passions.
Our program is offered to preschools, elementary schools and homeschool co-ops as enrichment classes and workshops, or at city recreation centers as summer camps. Kitoodle Creators offers in-person classes in the California cities of Pasadena, Monrovia, Arcadia, Glendora, Covina, Pomona, Yorba Linda, Diamond Bar and surrounding cities in the greater Los Angeles area.
To register for classes at Kiddie Academy, Learning Tree, Sonrise, Pomona Innovations Learning Academy, or any city recreation classes, please register directly with the location. If you are otherwise interested in joining a class, simply fill out the Registration Form to identify if we have a class conveniently located for you.
STEAM BUILDERS
In our STEAM Builders class, students explore real-world concepts through exciting demonstrations, hands-on experiments, and interactive builds. Each project is designed to spark creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving as Makers tinker, design, and discover.
KITCHEN LAB
In Kitchen Science Lab, student chefs step into the world of food science—experimenting with ingredients, observing chemical reactions, and learning the "why" behind the recipes. From mixing to measuring, cooking to creating, they explore the chemistry of food while preparing amazing dishes they can be proud of.
PHYSICAL SCIENCE LAB
In Kitoodle Physical Science Lab, students explore the physical world through hands-on building and kitchen-based experiments, stepping into the role of scientists and engineers. Structured as a lab-style experience, this course aligns with California science standards through hands-on investigation and real-world application. Projects are intentionally open-ended, allowing advanced middle and high school students to engage at a deeper level through increased complexity, independent problem-solving, and extended analysis.
LANGUAGE EXPLORERS: MANDARIN
Help your child build strong foundational language skills during this critical developmental stage through an engaging introduction to Mandarin. In this class, students explore authentic sounds and tones, practice pronunciation and basic speaking skills, and begin recognizing simple characters such as names and numbers. They listen to captivating Chinese stories and participate in cultural games, songs, and hands-on crafts that make language learning fun, meaningful, and culturally enriching.
LANGUAGE EXPLORERS: SPANISH
Help your child build essential language skills during this important developmental stage through a fun and immersive introduction to Spanish. Students learn everyday vocabulary for objects, colors, numbers, and greetings, while practicing simple phrases and conversational skills that build confidence. Through engaging stories with visual aids, lively songs and music, hands-on crafts, and playful cultural games, children discover the beauty of the Spanish language and gain a deeper appreciation for Hispanic cultures.
CENTER STAGE
Students take the spotlight in this dynamic acting class designed to build stage presence, confidence, and strong speaking skills. Young performers explore the craft of acting—from developing stage presence and creating characters to mastering voice projection and expressive storytelling.
Throughout the course, students gain experience in both on-stage and on-camera performance, learning essential skills such as script memorization, audition techniques, and confidence-building performance strategies.
As a highlight of the semester, each student will have the exciting opportunity to create their own original character and perform a voiceover for that character in an animated film inspired by the semester’s theme. The class culminates in a showcase performance, where students present scenes that demonstrate the wide range of techniques they’ve developed.
MIXED MEDIA ART
In this studio-style class, students explore the world of art through hands-on mixed media projects—think collage, watercolor, painting, and dioramas inspired by a variety of artists, styles, and artistic movements. Through intentional instruction and guided practice, students develop real artistic skills while expressing their own unique ideas and stories.
Each project builds toward a beautiful gallery display at our end-of-year Heartwise Showcase, where their creativity, growth, and artistic voice are celebrated by the entire community.
STORYBOOK EXPLORERS
This magical literacy class takes students on immersive storybook adventures that spark imagination and a love for reading. Younger learners dive into stories through sensory play and interactive experiences, while older students explore early literacy and math skills such as phonics, counting, patterns, and problem-solving—all naturally woven into each tale. Every session includes hands-on activities and a themed snack to bring the story to life and keep young readers excited to learn.
US CONSTITUTION
The Constitution isn't a dusty document. It's a living argument — and your student is about to join it. Through hands-on projects, founding-era simulations, real Supreme Court cases, and a Hamilton-inspired lens, students in grades 6 and up will discover why this 235-year-old document still starts fights, protects rights, and shapes every American life.
We'll meet the founders as real people under pressure negotiating, compromising, arguing, and sometimes refusing to sign. We'll follow the rights they created into courtrooms, classrooms, and communities across American history. And we'll wrestle honestly with both the miracle of what they built and the hard reality of who it left out — and how Americans have fought to close that gap ever since.
KIDPRENEURS
students will explore what it means to build something of their own—through the lens of American innovation, creativity, and purpose. In Kidpreneurs: From Idea to Marketplace, students take on the role of young entrepreneurs as they develop an idea, create a product, and bring it to life in a real marketplace setting. Inspired by the spirit of American makers and problem-solvers, students will see how ideas—big and small—can shape communities and make a difference.
LEARNING ADVENTURES
In Learning Adventures, students learn from real-world industry professionals and participate in hands-on immersive learning experiences.
Fall Semester - We the People
Don’t just read about America’s story this fall — live it. Heartwise Learning Adventures takes homeschool families on 12 fully planned Friday field trips through 250 years of American history — from the First Peoples of California to a Revolutionary War battle reenactment at Riley’s Farm, a WWII battleship, the golden age of chrome and drive-ins and the arcade era your parents grew up in. Every adventure is experienced together in a warm consistent Friday community of like-minded families where friendships are forged through shared discovery, joyful memories and the kind of learning that stays with your children long after the season ends. Each child receives a Heartwise Learning Passport — collect a stamp or sticker at every adventure and turn it in at our end-of-season showcase celebration to earn your very own “We the People” badge. Because learning this good doesn’t just fill a notebook — it makes a life.
ALL-IN SPORTS
All-In Sports gives kids a fun and active way to build confidence, coordination, and a lifelong love for physical play.
Younger athletes develop essential gross motor skills as they practice catching, throwing, hitting, balance, agility, and teamwork through sports games and drills.
Older students are introduced to a wide variety of sports—from lacrosse and hockey to baseball, soccer, and basketball—learning basic rules, techniques, and strategies along the way. As they explore new activities and refine foundational skills, students strengthen their athletic abilities, build sportsmanship, and gain the tools they need to grow as capable, confident student athletes.
UNLEASH CREATIVITY
Tools can unleash creativity. Being creative with a blank piece of paper might be more difficult than being creative if you have a set of building blocks or a colorful palette of playdough. But there are only so many building blocks, connector sets and STEM kits you can buy. In Kitoodle Creators classes, we give children a wide variety of tools and skills. We help them to learn to use them competently so the door to their imaginations can be opened. They can tinker, build, experiment and CREATE to their heart’s delight!
