This Student Kit will give children hands-on experience creating a closed circuit to help them understand how a current starts and follows a path. Moss Wall Kit
The Moss Wall workshop brings colorful elements and varied textures from the natural world into the hands of our Creators. Giving Makers the opportunity to hold, manipulate, arrange, and design elements to create something beautiful will develop in them an appreciation for nature. We want to encourage students to have a sensitivity to the natural elements, which are readily accessible around them and are excellent for fostering curiosity and wonder. Additionally, by interacting with nature, students can recognize the positive feelings they experience (biophilia effect). The Moss Wall display will be an excellent reminder of nature’s beauty and the role students can play in bringing this beauty to the forefront for others to appreciate. They will participate in a practical recycling project that demonstrates how used material can be reused in different ways.
